In the next 6 mins, I’d be the only one left in the team at work. 3 of my team mates are in Australia, 1 is on leave and another is leaving soon for an external meeting and is not coming back to the office. Heaven! Actually I have another team mate around but she’s in another room working on a major project.
I’m gonna spend all my free time researching for online business ideas and playing games.
I’m also looking for ways to earn extra money. Like doing online surveys for a few bucks. If you know of any services like that, let me know!
I didn’t mention before on any of my blogs but I went for the Placebo concert last week. The crowd turn out wasn’t what I expected and I heard that Placebo wasn’t happy with the ticket sales but heck.. the show must go on!
They played a lot of new songs which I wasn’t familiar with cos I haven’t listened to their latest album yet – Battle For The Sun. But I must say, it sound good and I’m so planning to rip it from my friend’s CD which I bought for her for her birthday!
I was also expecting to see a lot of emo-dressed kids but surprisingly, majority are adults, ang mohs and hardly anyone was in emo black outfits with heavily lined eyes and what nots. Pleasantly surprised.
However I did expect to see crazy people rocking and them I saw! One ang moh kid was jumping back and forth, pulled his shirt over his head while flinging his arms wildly in the air (like he just don’t care!). Thank God he was right at the back of the crowd where the only people in danger of being smacked at were those bringing in cups of beer bought from stalls nearby.
Another Crazy I saw, though not as mental as the ang moh kid (but still just as dangerous), was a young lady dressed almost all in black. She had a cup of beer in one hand and a lit cig in the other. And she was rockin’ with the music too, stepping back and forth, beer spilling and cig swinging dangerously close to those standing behind, front of her and those walking pass. After a while me and my people realised she was getting closer and we feared for our skin. We kept a close eye on her, making sure she wasn’t in our way and sadly, I missed out a small bit of Every Me And Every You cos I was distracted by that looney….. But I forgive her.

That’s the problem when there are so many free blog hosts out there. So many to play with! And now in total, I have about 3 blogs. Or is it 4? I can’t keep track! But so far I only use Blogger and WordPress. Both have it’s limitation so I tend to switch back and forth when I wanna use a particular too.
Anyway, I have to share my Paramore expereince. Read on…
I’m glad I went for their concert. Paramore sounded really good live and the crowd was strong and energized – they went WILD!! I was expecting to see Hayley in her red hair but it was more blonde. Nevertheless, the band put on a great show and then I wonder how long can they keep up this level of energy…
Hayley was jumping and head-banging around on stage, not to mention screaming at the top of her lungs into the mic. The men jumped around as well with their guitars and one of them (not sure who, I was too far to tell) did a high sideways flip of some sort while playing!! OMFG!!! This concert was a circus!!
They didn’t play long though, probably partly they didn’t have enough hit songs to play. The concert lasted for about an hour. I remembered Muse and Green Day played for at least one and a half hour cos I can still remember the ache in my legs!
The standing area was full of sweaty teenagers!! I felt so old and tired then but I’ve been there, done that and I think there wasn’t a need to jump around to get hot and sweaty cos the weather was already doing a pretty good job getting me into that state!
